They Were Awestruck

Matthew 9:8 ESV

8 When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Matthew 9:8 NASB

8 But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Blessed are they who fear the Lord. It is the recognizing that God is God, giving glory to Him.  It is an awesome thing.
