Coming Clean

Baptism is not what enables the receiving of the Holy Spirit. It is a confession and profession of that fact, a witness to our Father. 

It is cleansing that is once and for all, yet is ongoing. 

As Jesus said to Peter long ago, he that is clean needs only to wash his feet.
