Has Made Clean

Acts 10:12-16 ESV
12 In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat. ” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. ” 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common. ” 16 This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.

Jesus asked Peter whether he loved Him. He did this three times, and at each yes, Jesus said feed my sheep. This included flocks unknown to to the Jews, that is the Gentiles. Peter will have to get out of the boat again and walk on water to do so.
The divine number three is stamped on this revelation. In Peter's vision the sheet comes down three times. Three men call from the gate for Peter to come. The visions came at the sixth and ninth hours. Six disciples accompany Peter.
