The Communion

The body of Christ becomes part of the communion that is the Trinity of God. The body of Christ is unified by the Holy Spirit. We are one with God who is one.

They Left Him And Went Away - Matthew 22:17-22

Matthew 22:17-22 ESV

Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?” But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why put me to the test, you hypocrites? Show me the coin for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius. And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They said, “Caesar's.” Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” When they heard it, they marveled. And they left him and went away.

The devil came to Jesus in the wilderness to test Him. Jesus rebuffed his attempts to tempt and trap Him away from the purpose of the Father. This He did by using the word written in Scripture. Satan would leave Him for another time.

Jesus then encounters the children of Satan, a brood of vipers as John the Baptist called them, and they would continue the testing of the Son of Man. Jesus would speak the word and they also would go away, only to try again at a later time.

Satan is still tempting the body of Christ. Jesus answered with the word of God and the devil went away. The same will work for us and defeat the wiles and deception of Satan. But some of us will leave Him and go away. Some will come back. Some will stay, by staying in the word.

Few Are Chosen -Matthew 22:9-14

Matthew 22:9-14 ESV

Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

“But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding  garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Both good and bad were invited to the wedding feast. The invitation went out to all. Few would answer with obedience. That obedience would weave a wedding garment of righteousness. Those who did so were chosen.

The outer darkness could allude to the lake of fire. The lake might signify the waters of mankind where the knowledge of the separation from the light of God burns with the holy fire of judgement. How tormenting would it be to see the light of life from afar and never be able to draw close. The smoke of the torment of what might have been will rise without end.

The Cornerstone - Matthew 21:42-44

Matthew 21:42-44 ESV

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

“‘The stone that the builders rejected

has become the cornerstone;

this was the Lord's doing,

and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”

Jesus is the cornerstone of the new temple which is the body of Christ. This new thing of God is marvelous to our eyes.

Those who fall on the stone are those God is remaking into His image. He is using those pieces to make them whole. These become the body of Christ.

Those upon whom the stone falls will be ground to chaff and scattered in the wind, returning to the dust of the earth.

As Long As - John 9:4-5

John 9:4-5 ESV

We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

When Jesus left the world, we became the light of the world. He would return into each believer and thus pass His light to man and we would become the children of light. That light will remain until taken away and the son of lawlessness is revealed. Then the sun will be darkened and the moon turned to blood.

That is as long as we’ve got.

The Show Must Go On

When we show up, God is always there.

The Light Of This World - John 11:9-10

John 11:9-10 ESV

Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

Jesus says the light of the world is something within us and it keeps us from stumbling in the darkness of the world.

This is the light God spoke of in the beginning.

Happy Trails To You

There are many way to climb a mountain, but there is only one way to achieve a mountaintop experience with God. That’s by following Jesus and letting Him lead the way.

Happy trails to you until we meet at last.

And Came Back - John 9:6-7

John 9:6-7 ESV

Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.

When the word of God is mixed with the ground of man and applied to the eyes, the man is then ready to be washed by the Son of Man sent from heaven to remove the mud from his eyes.

As the mud of man clears from the washing, so do the eyes clear for seeing the things of God. This is the fruit that grows when the rain of heaven falls on the earth of man.

The Works - John 10:37-38

John 10:37-38 ESV

If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”

For us, the works of our Father are the changes within us. This is the new creation and what God has predestined for those who love Him, that we should walk in His ways. We are new creatures and our minds are renewing with the presence of the Holy Spirit into the mind of Christ.

This is how people will know that Christ is in us and we are in Christ.

Life In The

Our life on earth is in the blood that courses through our veins.

Jesus replaces our life in the blood with life in the Spirit. Thus we are transformed from earth dwellers into the kingdom of heaven.

His Finger - John 8:3-7

John 8:3-7 ESV

The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

The law of Moses was written in stone by the finger of God. There were no hearts of flesh that could receive the law in directly on the flesh. They were as spiritual stones in receiving the word of God. They received the word on the outside, but it did little to bring light inside a man.

The light of the world has now come to write the word with His finger directly on the ground, that is the flesh of man. The finger that wrote the word on the stone tablets has come to write His commandments on the heart of man through the giving of the Holy Spirit. The living word of God could be given after man was made a new and living creature from above.

Throwing the stone of the Old Covenant would give way to sharing the word of the New Covenant. The millstone of the Law would be thrown into the sea.

In His Image

The image of God is light. The children of light are made in His image.

In The Midst - Luke 17:20-21

Luke 17:20-21 ESV

Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”

The kingdom of God is within the heart and mind of the believer. We are the lampstands of Jesus found in Revelation.

His words are written on our hearts and our minds are undergoing a transformation into the mind of Christ.

Be The One - 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ESV

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

When we accept Jesus as Lord, we are set on the narrow path that leads to heaven. Paul tells us that we must take the path that we may obtain our goal. Standing around at the beginning will not get us to the end.

No one will want to hear Jesus say He never knew us and to leave. We have been qualified for the race. Let’s stay that way. Be the one that crosses the line.

Be The One - 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ESV

But Rather Division - Luke 12:49-51

Luke 12:49-51 ESV

“I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.

The light of the world becomes a fire on the earth which begins the division between light and darkness. His baptism of the cross ignited the fire that will refine a people for God out of the raw material of the sea of man.

This was shown to us from the beginning. God declared what He was doing before He did it. It is taking place now. It will continue until He is finished. The children of light are coming out of the darkness. The darkness remains because of those who find comfort there.

Neither Will They - Luke 16:29-31

Luke 16:29-31 ESV

But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

We have Moses and the prophets. We even have one that has risen from the dead, yet even that is enough for many. The people demand a sign that has already been given.

There are those who don’t hear. There are those who hear, but don’t listen.

Jesus came to the dead that He might lead them to life. We make up our own minds as to which is pleasing.

Be Opened - Mark 7:31-34

Mark 7:31-34 ESV

Then he returned from the region of Tyre and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, in the region of the Decapolis. And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment, and they begged him to lay his hand on him. And taking him aside from the crowd privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue. And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”

The finger of God wrote the commandments of life on the stone tablets for the people of Israel. The people would need someone to teach them the their meaning.

The finger of God now brings the word to each person. The ears of understanding are opened and the word is freely given to the tongue of every believer. It enters the heart and from the heart it flows into the world.

The heart of man is connected to the heart of God by the Holy Spirit. By this we become part of the living water that flows from the throne of God and into the earth like streams in the desert.

The gateway of salvation has been opened.

The Firstborn - Colossians 1:15

Colossians 1:15 ESV

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

God is creating man in the image of God. He is making us in image of Christ. He is the firstborn of all those who are reborn from above. The beginning and the end of man. He Himself has no beginning or end.

Working - John 5:16-17

John 5:16-17 ESV

And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath. But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

When did God rest from His works? When did His Sabbath rest begin?

It has not happened yet. Jesus said so.

It won't until the body of Christ is completely made in the image of God.

That Life

His love is bigger than anything you’ve ever done. It is everlasting because He is everlasting. This is what He offers to you and me, to become part of that life.

For This Statement - Mark 7:24-30

Mark 7:24-30 ESV

And from there he arose and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house and did not want anyone to know, yet he could not be hidden. But immediately a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. And he said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.” But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.” And he said to her, “For this statement you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter.” And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.

The light of the Lord cannot be hidden now that it has risen in the world. All those who come to the light will not be turned away. With the word we can be saved. All it takes is a word from us and the bread of heaven is ours.

I Am - John 8:58

John 8:58 ESV

Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”

Exodus 3:14

God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

I AM has sent I AM.

Our response should be, "Here I am."

He Came To Us - John 14:18

John 14:18

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

Jesus did not leave us alone when He ascended into heaven. He came to us in the form of the Holy Spirit. He is with us now. We are no longer orphans, but children of Christ’s light.

First he appeared among us in the flesh, and then appeared among us in the Spirit. When next He comes, the flesh and Spirit will be joined as one. Our flesh and spirits will be part of that return.

Who Conquers - Revelation 2:7

Revelation 2:7 ESV

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’

What is to be conquered? The world.

What is the world to be conquered? Our individual world that changes as we become a new creation.

The work of God takes place within a person. This is the creation story of man being made in the image of God.

We conquer our world by vacating the throne of our world and letting Christ sit there. We conquer the world by giving it to Christ. The paradise of God begins from within us and into the infinity beyond. We are more than conquerors. We are the children of the light.

In Parables - Matthew 13:34-35

Matthew 13:34-35 ESV

All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:

“I will open my mouth in parables;

I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

The meaning and truth of life is before us in the form of a parable. All of creation speaks of the Creator. He is the truth and meaning for all that is. The word that brought forth creation brings the word of understanding to one who has received that word. He is the light of understanding which comes in the form of the Holy Spirit. He brings us into all truth. With Him, we have the mind of Jesus.

Our life is a parable of the life to come.

Childbirth - 8:22-23

Romans 8:22-23 ESV

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

A child in the womb might wonder if there is life after birth, and it is no different for us in wondering if there is life after death. In birth and death we leave behind a world of darkness and small beginnings to enter the light of full existence. We become who we are.

Many do not acknowledge there is life before birth, that it doesn’t exist unless we can see it. Many do not acknowledge there is life after death, that it doesn’t exist unless we can see it. It is the darkness of the world that blinds the eye in both cases.

One day all of creation will participate in the light of the world and creation will be complete. One day the children of light will find full participation with the light of the world and the creation of man into image of God will be complete.

Childbirth foreshadows and provides us with a concept of God’s purpose in creation which is the birth of the children of light, the body of Christ. It is bringing His light and life into the darkness of creation.

Before The Ages - 2 Timothy 1:8-10

2 Timothy 1:8-10 ESV

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

The concept of predestination may find a Scriptural understanding of its meaning in these verses. God predestined our salvation in Christ “before the ages began”.

God would speak His word to us through the appearing of His Son Jesus Christ. He would create men in the image of God through the giving of His light which He called forth at the beginning of creation.

He did not predestine an individual for salvation, but that we could choose the salvation He provided beforehand.

He predestined the highest fulfillment of the creature known as man, and it is for us to reach for His Image. We have to decide if that is what we want.

The Countdown

WND EXCLUSIVE
'COUNT DOWN DAYS TO DEATH' IN ISRAEL

Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2017/10/count-down-days-to-death-in-israel/#lFiid3OxHkBJL0eV.99

In the latter days, Satan will gather the nations against the city of God’s elect, the people of Israel. This will be a conflict such as the world has never known.

Go And Tell - Luke 7:22-23

Luke 7:22-23 ESV

And he answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

Man is given the life of God. Eyes have been opened to His light. We can now walk in the path of righteousness. Our sins can be washed away. We can now hear the word of truth and understand. No longer are we condemned to death, but we can reach for life which has drawn near. The word of our salvation has come and all who receive the word will be blessed.

Seeing

Seeing does not always result in believing, but believing in God will always bring the kingdom of heaven into view.

Among Those - Luke 2:13-14

Luke 2:13-14 ESV

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

The only way to please the Lord is to have faith in Him. They who do so will have the peace of God.

Of Water And Spirit - John 3:3-6

John 3:3-6 ESV

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The person born of flesh is from the water of mankind. This is the face of the deep that the Spirit hovers over at the beginning of our creation. We are born in the flesh that we might be reborn of the Spirit.

To enter the kingdom of God, one must be born from the waters of mankind and then reborn from the Spirit above. Heaven and earth are joined in this way.

Lest We Drift - Hebrews 2:1

Hebrews 2:1 ESV

Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.

The inclination of man is to drift back to his nature if he takes his eyes off his destination. We tend to go where we look.

The same could be said of a Christian who becomes complacent in the renewing of his or her mind. Drift is always the default mode for one not intentional about their destination.

In God My Savior - Luke 1:46-48

Luke 1:46-48 ESV

And Mary said,

“My soul magnifies the Lord,

and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.

For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;

Every believer can join Mary in singing these words. We each carry a child of the Holy Spirit within us. This child of God is conceived from above and will be revealed to the world when Jesus returns.

We rejoice in God our Savior and are blessed with every blessing of heaven. In our flesh heaven and earth are joined together.

Luke 1:67-71

Zechariah's Prophecy

And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying,

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,

for he has visited and redeemed his people

and has raised up a horn of salvation for us

in the house of his servant David,

as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old,

that we should be saved from our enemies

and from the hand of all who hate us;

Zechariah sings the equivalent song of praise and celebration for the Old Covenant and the nation of Israel. Both covenants will be established and fulfilled.

From The Beginning

Faith in God has always been the righteous work of mankind from the beginning. It was required from Adam and Eve, and it is required of each of us.

Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Troubled - Matthew 2:1-5

Matthew 2:1-5 ESV

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

The source of all wisdom is the Lord. This gives a hint of God’s intent to include all people in His mercy and grace. The wise men seem to be more learned in Jewish prophecy than the Jews.

The rising star in the east may signify the first coming of the Lord, just as the rising sun may signify His second coming. They both rise in east and bring their light into the world.

All of Jerusalem is troubled by this news. As the people of God, they should not be taken by surprise by the long awaited birth of their King and Messiah. To hear this news from the mouth of a gentile would be beyond the comprehension of Jewish thought and belief.

Be Perfect - Matthew 5:48

Matthew 5:48 ESV

You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Since Christ alone is perfect, when God tells us to be perfect He is telling us that He is and will make us into the image of God.

We are perfect in Jesus and we will find ourselves like Him when we see Him face to face.

Reflecting Light

Believing that some are predestined for salvation and others are not, is similar to the Jews believing they were were God's people and the Gentiles are not.

Neither belief reflects our Father of lights.

The Spirit Descending - Mark 1:9-11

Mark 1:9-11 ESV

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

Christ was never reborn from above. He was born from above, the only begotten Son of the living God. He was brought into the world by the Holy Spirit and it was Christ who brings the Holy Spirit into the heart of man.

We are adopted as sons of God when we receive Jesus Christ who is one with the Father and Spirit. Likewise, we the many enter into the one. This is the Bride of Christ.

The Holy Spirit hovers over the waters of the world to bring forth the light of God into creation.

The Name - Hebrews 1:1-4

Hebrews 1:1-4 ESV

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

He has spoken to us by His Son because He is the final word of God, the beginning and the end.

Christ is the exact image of God and all who are in the body of Christ are being formed in His image.

We have taken His name which is more excellent than any other. It is not one to take in vain.
