Seeing No One

Acts 9:7 ESV
7 The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
Acts 9:8
8 Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; and leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus.

Saul heard and understood the voice while those around him could not. They heard the voice, but did not see the light. His eyes could no longer see this world, but he was ready for the light, having seen the light. His companions would have to lead him on by the hand. After his sight was restored, he began to view things in a much different way. He would lead them.
