Amazed

Acts 13:12 ESV
12 Then the proconsul believed when he saw what had happened, being amazed at the teaching of the Lord.

KJV
12  Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished...

Believing, he was shaken loose from the world's pull, the gravity of self. A new world was opened up, the kingdom of God. He was awaken from the slumber of sin which is death. He felt the sword of the word which can penetrate the hardest of hearts.
