Matthew 18:20 ESV
20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
This doesn't mean He is not with us individually, but He is also there when we gather in His name. We each bring His Spirit, and in the one Spirit we come together.
As He said in Revelation, He walks between the lampstands, which is the Church.
He is with us.
