Will All Fall Away

Matthew 26:31 ESV

31 Then Jesus *said to them, “You will all fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, ‘ I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered.’

The word here translated here as fall includes the idea that Jesus is the stone of stumbling, that will either cause one to be broken or crushed. We all will fall one way or the other.
He is the rock that became the cornerstone.
Blessed are those that are not offended by Him.

σκανδαλίζω * skandalizō * skan-dal-id'-zo * To "scandalize"; from G4625; to entrap, that is, trip up (figuratively stumble [transitively] or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure): - (make to) offend.
