Mark 5:11-13 ESV
11 Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, 12 and they begged him, saying, “Send us to the pigs; let us enter them.” 13 So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and were drowned in the sea.
God has given Satan permission to enter creation, and it is here he finds home in the unclean. The only way to be clean is to be washed by Jesus. The unclean continue to race toward their destruction.
It is also written not to cast pearls before swine.
This is a reminder not to wallow in the mud and mire of the earth.
Demons that are thrown out of one house will be looking for another.
