Cursed Is The Ground

Genesis 3:17 NASB

17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’;

 Cursed is the ground because of you;

 In toil you will eat of it

All the days of your life.

I saw this verse and thought of the question we often hear, or ask ourselves, questioning a God that allows bad things to happen, such as natural disasters, or sickness, and things we don't understand.  

We may forget that we are formed from the earth, and to its dust we will return. 

We might ask how a good and loving God could let this happen?

Scripture tells us it wasn't always going to be this way. God gave us choice a long time ago and this was the result of that choice. 

He has given us another choice. We'll see what happens.
