But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.
Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees in Matthew. He talks about the kingdom, "has come upon you", using the same word in Luke describing the activity to Mary, the mother of Jesus. "The Holy Spirit will come upon you."
The kingdom of God has drawn near because the Holy Spirit and Jesus are present. When the Holy Spirit descends on a person, a child is born. A unique birth took place with Mary and the Spirit of God was born into our flesh. The Son of man. It opened the door for the union of Christ and the Church.
A different but just as incredible birth takes place when the Spirit descends on each believer. The flesh of man is reborn into the Spirit of God. We walk through that open door into His presence. We are no longer only a son of man, but now walk as a child of God.
