Romans 8:4 NASB
so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
The requirement of the Law is a Spirit filled life, one that is in complete obedience to those commands and able to stand before God.
Our flesh was unable to abide in the Law, for we are weak. Through His strength we can walk according to the Spirit as we abide in Him. He walks with us and helps us on our way.
The Law is fulfilled for we are filled. We are completed in Him.
Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self- control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
