Those Who Are Well - Mark 2:17

Mark 2:17 ESV
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but  those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

If we were called, we were sinners. It is only by knowing we are sinners that we can reach out to God to be cleansed.

Those who do not know or think they are sick have no need for a physician, and likewise, those who can't see sin have no need for Jesus.

We are called everyday. Everyday His mercy is renewed. The living water flows without interruption and our daily bread is given without measure.

As Jesus said to the woman at the well, "If you knew you would ask".
Jesus is at the well. He is the well.
We can be well.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
