It Is Written - 1Corinthians 1:18-19

1 Corinthians 1:18-19

 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written,

 “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,

and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”

A word can make a difference, especially when it comes from The Lord. It can be taken differently, even when its meaning is the same. 

Denying what took place on the cross is to enter the camp of the perishing. The wisdom of man is not the wisdom of God. The wisdom and power of God can be found in His word, for it is written.
