Revelation 1:1 ESV
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,
Who is this angel of the Lord? Jesus was sent by the Lord God. Jesus ascended into heaven, but sent the Holy Spirit to man to bear witness to the truth. When John says he is in the Spirit, it is the Holy Spirit he speaks of.
This could possibly be the angels of the seven churches that deliver the messages to all the churches. Jesus even says to listen to what the Spirit says.
There one Spirit and there is one who is understood to be the angel of the Lord. It is Christ, for He is the Spirit and our Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
