A New Thing - Isaiah 43:19

Isaiah 43:19 ESV 

Behold, I am doing a new thing;

now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?

I will make a way in the wilderness

and rivers in the desert.

A new creation is underway. God's work of creating man in His image is ongoing as we are being transformed into the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ. We are a new thing, a new creation as children of light. 

We will find we are part of His rest when His work is done. This is the ultimate Sabbath rest of the Lord.
