Walked With God - Genesis 5:24

Genesis 5:24 ESV

Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Genesis 6:9

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

There are two individuals in the Old Testament that were to have been described as "walked with God."

They were both "taken" out of the world where they walked. Enoch walked directly into heaven to be with God. Noah would ride in the safety of the ark to find himself in a new world cleansed by the flood of God.

We might understand from these accounts that those who walk with the Lord and are found blameless will find themselves delivered into a place prepared by the Lord.

The Church, the body of Christ, which walks with Him and is clothed with the righteousness of the Lord will be delivered from this world, that is, taken and caught up with Him in the clouds.

Enoch was not was only from a worldly perspective. From a heavenly perspective, Enoch still walks in the presence of God.
