They Are Holy - 1Corinthians 7:14

1 Corinthians 7:14 ESV
For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

Much consternation and debate revolves around what happens to children who die before accepting The Lord. This verse perhaps adds insight to that mystery, and comfort in the wisdom and mercy of God.

God has salted the earth and shed His light through the presence of those who believe. The husband has joined with the wife and have become one flesh. The flesh that issues forth from that union is of the same kind.

This example does not address every scenario or every question we might have, but it can serve to convey or project God's mercy and justice. Though we don't know everything God is doing, we can be assured He is working a good thing, and we will be satisfied.

1 Timothy 4:4-5
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.

Malachi 2:15
Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.
