Quite Right - Mark 12:26-27

Mark 12:26-27 ESV
And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong.”

The living God is the God of the living. Though their bodies have died, they are quite alive. They have entered the eternal life of God. God has not descended to earth yet. All who live will return with Him, and they will rejoin a new body.

Believing the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will make you to be quite right, in several ways.

Romans 4:17
as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
