John 16 20 (NIV)
20I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.
Jesus speaks of not only what is to come, but what is already here. We will indeed rejoice when He comes, when we receive all that is promised.
Our joy is not just confined to a distant expectation, but is a present reality. There is a peace in the middle of hardship and struggle that defies natural understanding, and it is available now. Jesus turned water into wine. He turns our lives into lessons of new life, new life in Him. Let the joy come and flow.
