Confirmation vs Revelation

Seeking confirmation of what one believes only has benefit if sought from the Holy Spirit. Seeking and finding it elsewhere results in a distorted view, an alternate reality apart from God.

I made it a habit to ask God's advice on every statement I wrote in my book. If something was wrong, he'd steer me away from it--I'd get a feeling it was wrong, I'd think of things that didn't fit, and so on. Things that were right would feel better and better, refinements would come to my mind, articles supporting what I had written would turn up in the papers and the news.

Now that I seem to have completed the work, I have the confidence to advertise the book because I've had this continuous discussion with God about it.
Best,

Robert

Revelation is most often a process that happens over time. Thank goodness I've been given an eternity!

By the way, I'm enjoying the book.
