Galatians 5:22-25 ESV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
When we are led by the Spirit, the work of the Spirit bears the fruit of God working in us. This is a collaborative effort between God and man. He leads and we follow. If we keep in step with the Spirit, we will find ourselves at the wedding feast of Christ.
Being made alive with the Spirit is only the beginning of the journey to God. We must walk with Him in the fullness of life. Keeping step with Him becomes the work of God which is made possible by faith.
