1 Timothy 2:5-6 ESV
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
Why is there one mediator between God and man? Because the meeting point between God and man is when they came together in the man Christ Jesus. He is the bridge and the boundary where the two meet.
Why was the testimony given at the proper time? So we would know.
