Psalms 90:3-4 ESV
You return man to dust
and say, “Return, O children of man!”
For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
From dust we rise to life only to return to dust when our time is past. Though our nostrils are filled with the air of this world while we on this earth, that breath will cease. If a thousand years are compared to a day in the sight of the Lord, how brief and ephemeral is the life of a man?
It is only a man reborn from above that breathes the eternal breath of God that does not share that fate. That man does not return to the dust of the earth but rises as stardust into the presence of Jesus, Yeshua. There are no yesterdays for this one, for he has entered the eternal now of our everlasting Father.
