Luke 2:13-14 ESV
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Jesus brought peace on earth, but not on the whole earth. His peace would rest on those who receive Him as Lord and in doing so pleasing God.
Many overlook or forget this fact. He came for everyone, but not everyone will go with Him. We must make peace with Him, and agree to walk together.
The wonder of His birth is only truly celebrated and experienced by those reborn, who have experienced their own rebirth into His life.
