Isaiah 45:22-25 ESV
“Turn to me and be saved,
all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
By myself I have sworn;
from my mouth has gone out in righteousness
a word that shall not return:
To me every knee shall bow,
every tongue shall swear allegiance.’
“Only in the Lord, it shall be said of me,
are righteousness and strength;
to him shall come and be ashamed
all who were incensed against him.
In the Lord all the offspring of Israel
shall be justified and shall glory.”
Salvation only comes to those who turn to God. There is no other way, no other name by which a man can be saved. From His mouth comes the word which goes forth and will not be turned back unfulfilled. That Word is Jesus Christ.
Everyone will come before the Lord, some ashamed and some justified. They will bow the knee and confess the Lord.
So many reject the Lord and accept anything else in His stead. Ignorance and defiance has always with us and shows no sign of abating. May the light find its way into that darkness that some might be saved.
