Bore Up The Ark - Genesis 7:17-18

Genesis 7:17-18 ESV 

The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters.

The Lord has provided the way of salvation. During our time on earth we can be swept away by the dark waters of the world, or we can enter the ark that is Christ and be lifted by those same waters of destruction. It is through the water we are saved, only we must enter and remain in the ark until the waters subside. 

Though the waters prevail on the earth, the ark will float above the rising waves. Just as the Spirit hovered over the face of the deep when the world began, the Spirit will float on the face of the waters, dwelling in the hearts of the body of Christ.
