Isa 53:1 NIV
Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
The message had been heard for a long time by the people chosen by God to bring the message to the world. The arm of The Lord, His very strength, was revealed in the man named Jesus, but He did not fit the image they expected. Instead of a mighty warrior, He appeared as a lamb for sacrifice. The strong arm of the Lord was revealed in the weakness of our flesh. It is this weakness He came to save.
Hearing the message of good news and discerning the truth of that message is troublesome even today. The noise of the world can distract us from the voice of truth.
Faith comes from hearing the word of God and hearing from belief. Faith becomes our answer once we are able to hear.
