Is Coming - John 5:24-25 5:28-29

IJn 5:24 ESV 

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Whoever hears the word passes from death to eternal life. This hearing implies and includes doing, that is living out a life led by the Spirit.

Jn 5:25

“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

This moment has arrived. We were dead to sins, but have been made alive in Christ. Our eternity has begun.

Jn 5:28-29

Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

Another hour is yet to come. This time everyone will hear his voice. Everyone will be resurrected, some to life and some to judgment. 

Now is and is coming.
