Luke 9:30-31 KJV CWS
30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah: 31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease[ art,nn G1841 ἔξοδος * exodos * ex'-od-os * From G1537 and G3598; an exit, that is, (figuratively) death: - decease, departing. [LEX] [Find] ] which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
Another exodus(Greek word- exodos) is about to happen. Just as Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, Jesus is about to lead the way out of death to the life of God. This is why He came. This is what He accomplished through His own death. It was and is the only way out.
