How Big Is Your Belief?

¹³ Then Jesus turned to the captain and said, "Go. What you believed could happen has happened." At that moment his servant became well.

Have you ever run into someone who blows you away by their whole hearted, without question belief in Jesus? Not only did this soldier believe in that way, he acted on that belief. He comes to Jesus asking that his servant be healed. He tells Jesus just to say the word, there is no need to go see the servant.

Jesus is taken aback. Another translation says astonished. Imagine Jesus looking at this man for a moment. Then Jesus tells him that what he believed has happened. It happened at the moment he asked Jesus in full faith, fully believing it would be so.
