He Was Very Humble

Numbers 12:3 (NKJV)
³ (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)

Moses was chosen by God to lead his people out of bondage to the promised land. He was a great man in God’s view because he was humble. In fact, he was more humble than anyone else. Because of that he was chosen by God to be blessed and to bless many. He could be used by God.

Being humble brings us closer to God. It melts away the distance and barriers that pride creates. It allows us to seek God and to receive His blessings. When we come to realize that we are nothing we are then ready to be filled by the One who is everything.

More of You Lord, less of me
