Newness Of Life - Romans 6:4

Romans 6:4 ESV

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

The Greek word translated as “glory” also carries the meaning of judgement and will. It is the will of our Father that we “walk in the newness of life.” In fact we are predestined for this life if we choose to receive it.

We don’t choose to be here in this life, but we can choose to be in the life of Christ. Life is then based on the agreement of God and man. When two agree they can walk together.
