Genesis 15:5-6 ESV
And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.
Abram is told to look up toward heaven to understand the number and nature of his offspring. The stars are apt examples, for his descendants will be children of light. That's you and me. God's light abides in His children as we abide in Him.
We abide as we believe. Therein is righteousness.
We will shine with the light of the Lord.
