John 4:21-23
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
The veil separating the holy place from the Holy of Holies was torn at the death of Christ. Jesus was pierced so that we might enter the presence of God. From His side we are are fashioned into brothers and sisters, the sons of God.
God chooses no longer to be shielded and confined to one spot to be worshipped. God is Spirit and seeks spirits who are alive and able to worship Him in spirit and truth. God is Spirit and truth.
Through the fabric of the body of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is given to go out into the world to reside in every believer, the body of Christ. God first came in the one man as His Son. God now is coming in the many who are filled with His Spirit. The hour is now here.
