To The Image - Romans 8:29

Romans 8:29 ESV 

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

He fore knew because He sees the end from the beginning. He's there at both ends of time. 

Man is the chosen vessel of God's love. No other creature bears that privilege, not only to receive that love, but be that love. 

We were created by Him and for Him, in His image. 

That image is the image of Christ. 

Man has been in the process of fulfilling that image from the beginning. The fruition and perfection of that process results in the formation of sons of God, reborn into the image of Christ and made brothers to that one perfect man.
