Philippians 2:9-11 ESV
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Revelation 2:17
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.’
Because of what Christ Jesus did He received the name that is above every name.
The Lord tells us that if we likewise conquer the world, we will also receive a new name. It will not be above every other name like Jesus, but it will reflect our kinship with the King of Kings. We are brothers of Christ and children of God. He is the first of many.
