Philippians 3:10-11 ESV
that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
Everyman experiences death. There is no way around it. Jesus died so that we could get past death and obtain life. He conquered death so that we could be more than conquerors. We experience the power of His resurrection.
Not sharing in the death of Jesus means that we do not share in the life of Jesus. Not sharing death with Jesus means that we will die apart and alone from God. This is true death.
