Paul knew well the learning that comes from men, in fact excelled in his studies and adhering to those rules.
He had come to understand his blindness when Jesus revealed Himself on the road that day. All his learning was of no use in knowing God. There is poverty in knowledge without the wisdom of God.
He may use men and circumstance, but it is the Spirit Who reveals and confirms the gospel of Jesus. That light shines on each heart. This is where learning starts.
