Galatians 1:11-12 (ESV Strong's)
11 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. 12 For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
It is the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth. Without the Spirit, the gospel cannot be heard with understanding. The words of man often have merit and often do not. Either can serve as a teaching point by the Spirit in the revelation of God’s truth. We equally can learn from a good example or a bad one.
We have all eaten of the forbidden fruit and may be satisfied for a time. Some will reach for the fruit of life and be satisfied for all time.
