Exposed - Hebrews 4:11-13

Hebrews 4:11-13 ESV
" Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

It is the word that shapes and defines us, that saves us or condemns us.

From the mouth of God comes the living truth which enters the into the deepest recesses of a man. The light has been given and no creature is able to avoid the gaze of our Creator. We will give an account for our journey, whether we answer His call or ignore it. He knows what we do. Adam and Eve hid in the Garden when He called to them after they had eaten of the forbidden fruit.

Who told us that we are naked? Who is able to clothe us and cover our nakedness?

The answer is in the word.
