1 John 1:9 ESV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Is it possible to be pure in heart? Yes! How so?
The Greek word for cleanse also means to purify. If we confess our sins, He will cleanse, or purify, us from all unrighteousness. If you don't have a pure heart, it only means you have unconfessed sin.
A pure heart is a choice we have and we make. Jesus has made a way.
