Mark 4:33-34 ESV
With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it. He did not speak to them without a parable, but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
Life here on earth is but a shadow of life to come, a parable that speaks of life beyond our imagination. We can only give ear to listen with the language of our experience. It is with the heart we are able to encounter God. Spirit with spirit. Deep reaching out to deep. We commune truly with God when we are able to sit still before our Father Who is beyond our words and concepts.
It is given to us who believe to understand its meaning.
