In The Name - Matthew 28:18-20

Matthew 28:18-20 ESV
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Jesus confirms the significance of what He has done and Who He has become. He was slain before the foundation of the world and has always been the word of God. He defeated sin and death. He now sits on the throne of heaven.

The name of God includes the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the mystery of the Three in One that calls Himself, "I AM".

The commandments are not written on stone, but now in hearts of flesh. God in His multitude dwells within us. He is always with us. He shares His name and His life.
