Until The Flood Came - Matthew 24:36-41

Matthew 24:36-41 NASB
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

Life goes on as it always has, right? Yes it has, but no it won't, not forever. The end will reached. Just as a child does not understand getting old, we have trouble perceiving the transitory nature of the cosmos. That reality is best informed by the Holy Spirit. We have been given a peek of the end from where we are.

We have already entered the ark that is the body of Jesus. Satan has opened his mouth to flood the world with deception. Those not in the ark will be swept away. They will not understand until the flood comes.

Revelation 12:15-17
And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
