Never Be Ashamed - Psalms 34:5

Psalms 34:5 NASB

They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.

David joyfully speaks of those who had experience the light of the presence of The Lord. Their glow indicates a steady and trusting reliance. The Hebrew word, translated here as "ashamed", contains the sense of something hidden from sight, something better suited for a dark place.

The psalmist says this will never happen to those who seek after The Lord. In Him there is no stain of darkness.
