That The King May Come In -Psalms 24:7-10

Psalms 24:7-10 ESV
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory!
Selah

The gates represent towns and the people therein, the whole of humanity.
God calls out to all hearts.
They must lift their heads, turning eyes cast down to heaven above.
There is the King of glory and The Lord of hosts, Who sits above all.

Now He stands at the door and knocks. Listen for His voice and join the song of thanks and salvation, that you share in His glory.

Revelation 3:20-22
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ’”
