We are on a journey together. We are woven together in the life of God. At times it may be easy to overlook the wonder and beauty of those around us as we fall into our daily rhythms and demands of life. I had The Message version of this verse pointed out to me this past week. I was reminded of this truth this morning. I stood in the midst of God-chosen lives, and there felt the joy and delight that the psalmist speaks of. It is humbling to consider what God has done and is doing, in us and through us. He is revealed in our coming together. How precious are those all around for they are splendid friends indeed!
