2 John 1:6 (ESV Strong's)
And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
We love Jesus by obeying Him. Walking according to His commandments means that we are making a straight way for Him to transform our lives into the fullness of His love.
Love is perfected in the circle of giving and receiving.
