1 John 5:4-5 (ESV Strong's)
4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
This is one of the most important promises of God for us to understand. It is our faith in Jesus Christ that overcomes the world. He is the one man who was able to do this and we share in His victory when we believe in Him.
He who overcomes will receive the promises of Christ. Listen to what the Spirit says.
